Overview

Aster is a next-generation decentralized exchange (DEX) that positions itself as a one-stop on-chain trading platform for global crypto users. Initially launched as a perpetuals-focused DEX, it has since expanded to include spot trading, providing traders with both leveraged and long-term portfolio-building opportunities. Aster introduces three trading modes: Pro Mode, offering advanced perpetuals trading across BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum with deep liquidity, low fees, and advanced tools; 1001x (Simple Mode), a fully on-chain MEV-resistant perpetuals product with up to 1001x leverage, powered by the ALP liquidity pool; and Spot Mode, allowing direct asset ownership and trading at current market prices. Beyond trading, Aster Earn gives users access to yield-bearing products such as asBNB (a liquid staking derivative) and USDF, a decentralized stablecoin with delta-neutral yield strategies managed via custodians like Ceffu. The platform also introduces innovative mechanics such as BONUSUSD for trading collateral, real-time rewards, and an integrated app for managing assets and rewards. Altogether, Aster combines perpetual contracts, spot trading, liquid staking, and yield-bearing stablecoins into a multi-chain ecosystem powered by the $ASTER token, which drives governance, fee savings, and growth incentives.
