Saga specializes in simplifying the deployment of application-specific blockchains, or "Chainlets". Saga uses Cosmos Interchain Security (ICS) to provide shared security across all Chainlets without needing individual staking tokens. Validators ensure compliance with service-level agreements and handle both the Saga Mainnet and Chainlets, with violations reported and penalized through slashing. Saga's model is cost-efficient, with developers paying in SAGA tokens and end users facing no network fees.
